As a founder of three operating charter schools (elementary, middle, and virtual) and another on the way (high school, 2022), I have a great passion for innovative educational options for students.
Most recently, I joined the team of the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools (WRCCS) supporting schools around Wisconsin. I also provide support services to over 60 schools across the United States as the Membership Services Director for the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education. What inspires me is the amazing schools, leaders, and pioneers I get to work with and the joy that ensues when a problem is tackled and professional learning takes place.
Charter schools are inherently unique from one another. The process to open one should be too.
